Voyage de la Vie is the first permanent production show to open at Resort World Sentosa. Voyage de la Vie, an original rock circus spectacular comprising of world-renowned circus stars, is set to perform in the Festive Grand Theatre with a capacity of 1,600 people. Voyage de la Vie spectacularly features death defying and breathtaking acts. With an international cast from 19 countries and other guest artists, this is Singapore’s longest running show with over 400 performances to date. It is a feature show in RWS.

Martial Combat, Asia’s largest mixed martial arts fighting championship, is staged over six months each year at the Compass Ballroom in the Resort World Sentosa.

Crane Dance is a multimedia moving art installation with choreographed animatronic cranes built over the sea surrounding RWS. Crane Dance interprets the love story of the world’s largest pair of animatronic cranes in a multimedia spectacle of lights, sound, water jets and pyrotechnic effects.

The past 5000 years has witnessed how Pi Xiu endeared itself to the Chinese people as a deity animal that can bring fortune and peacefulness into a family while blocks the evil forces away.

Legends have that as the ninth son of the Dragon King, Pi Xiu feeds on gold, silver and some other gemstones. In spite of enjoying a great popularity among the Dragon King and the Jade Emperor, the fact that one day Pi Xiu greedily overeat too much of its food and couldn’t help at excreting everywhere provoked the Jade Emperor to anger. He spanked Pi Xiu and made him stopped. Strangely, Pi Xiu hasn’t exported any treasures out of his body ever since then, but still he eats a lot. Hence, many Chinese people started to consider Pi Xiu as a deity animal which preserves a good fortune without any loss.

Simultaneously, rumour has that Pi Xiu is a kind of beast of luckiness, like the other four animals namely, Dragon, Phoenix, Turtle and Qi Lian. According to the Chinese fairy tale of the ancient times, during the war between two emperors named Yan and Huang, they they found out that Pi Xiu was carved on both of their totems, indicating that hey might have the same ancestors. This discovery proclaimed the end of the war and kicked off a long period of peacefulness. This, in turn, coined a new term that describe the Chinese people as ‘the offspring of Yan and Huang’. After that, Pi Xiu was also called ‘the Evil Blocker’. To many Chinese Feng Shui experts, Pi Xiu is capable of preventing the catastrophe and guarding the whole families. Pi Xiu could fall into 5 different categories given different functions.

1. Pi Xiu of Emperor
